Our General Manager, Tracy Reeves, has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has operated in multiple facets of the industry including dispatching, warehousing, driving, and fleet maintenance and management. With experience in all these areas, he understands the full scope of driver responsibility and acknowledges that our world stops without quality drivers.

Company Drivers

At Trans-Motion, our drivers’ comfort and safety are a priority. We provide late-model, well-maintained, clean equipment to company drivers and employ full-time maintenance staff to ensure that our trucks are running in compliance at all times.

Our hourly drivers also enjoy six paid holidays* after completing a 90-day probation period and one week’s paid vacation after a year of service and one additional day for every year of service thereafter. Company drivers are paid 38 cents a mile on all miles with no-touch freight.

We understand that time at home is important. Our dispatchers work diligently to make sure that our drivers receive adequate home time. We also strive to provide hours and routes that fit your specific home needs and we do our best to work around requested time off.

Trans-Motion works on a blended rate system. While we provide our Owner Operators with a 75/25 settlement split on the load’s gross revenue. While our Owner Operators will never be paid below this threshold, we do not pay a flat, per-mile rate. If we get a higher base of revenue, we’re going to share that wealth with our driver.

We will work to achieve the highest rate of pay for our Owner Operators while making sure that their downtime is limited. Additionally, we also provide Transflo for document imaging to help ensure timely settlement of all loads delivered. Settlements to the O/O are paid a week in arrears.

In addition to these rates and services, we provide a fuel card for Owner Operators. With this card, operators enjoy substantial discounts on fuel purchases (upwards of .20/per gallon off cash pump price) with specific fueling partners. We also provide drivers with a phone application that will direct them to the best fuel prices in their immediate area, ensuring that they never spend more than necessary on your fuel. These fuel savings go straight into the driver’s pocket – not to the company, which helps to ensure greater profitability annually for our drivers.
